red pendant & weekend

It was a busy weekend, attending some visitors, and that means a lot of walks around the whole town, tasting some wines and tapas (oh, so exhausting!). And, of course, a visit to Sunday flea market was compulsory!. It's not a real secondhand goods market, because actually most of the stands are sending cheap chinese clothes, but there're still some bargains and curiosities to rummage about. I've just purchased some sheets, but there was also a ton of cheap tablecloth fabric that would make some pretty colorful skirts!. I'm making some sewing plans!
And it's time to link another Visible Monday showing what I worn on Friday. Oh yes, it was a so busy weekend than I didn't take any photo, Real Life took all my time!

He tenido un fin de semana muy entretenido, con visitas a las que llevar a recorrer la ciudad entera, probando vinos y pinchos (oh, es agotador!). Y además, era obligado ir a ver el mercadillo de los domingos. No hace falta decirlo, no es un mercadillo de segunda mano, y ya sabemos que la mayoría de lo que venden es ropa china barata, pero todavía se puede una meter a revolver gangas y curiosidades. Sólo he comprado unas sábanas, pero había un montón de tela para manteles muy barata, con la que se podrían hacer unas faldas de mucho colorido, así que tengo planes de costura en mente...
Y es el momento de enlazar otro Visible Monday / lunes visible, mostrando lo que llevé el viernes. Porque el fin de semana he estado tan liada que no me he sacado ni una foto, a veces la Vida Real se impone!

Springtime stays as crazy as usual, so yesterday it was hot as hell, and today is being cloudy and chilly. I'm not a huge fan of high temperatures, so today's stormy weather is ok for me. And I'm wearing yellow sandals, even though it's going to rain, and some colorful bijouterie. I'm enjoying once more my fridesque pendant (instant refreshing!) and wearing a recently purchased bag. It's a designer-label bag, and that usually means 'let it go' for me, because I hate to wear anything with a stupid label on it, but I decided that any prejudice would make me give up a funny piece on sale!. WTF, that's another broken rule!

La primavera sigue igual de loca, ayer un calor infernal y hoy todo nublado y fresco. Como no soy muy aficionada a las altas temperaturas, este tiempo tormentoso me parece bien. Y hoy llevo mis sandalias amarillas, aunque vaya a llover, y además, bisutería con colorido. Y de nuevo estoy disfrutando de este colgante 'fridesco' (refrescante al momento!) y llevo un bolso que he comprado hace poco. Es de marca de un diseñador, y eso normalmente me echa para atrás, porque odio llevar nada con una etiqueta bien visible por encima, pero decidí que este prejuicio no me iba a hacer abandonar un bolso tan divertido y tan rebajado!, así que esta es otra norma que rompo!

holiday & sunny

We're enjoying a local celebration, San Bernabé (spanish, sorry), and there was some funny activities, a 'renaissance style' market, local products fair and some performances of the battle and siege that happened in June 1521. It was pouring rain the whole weekend but today was really sunny and warm, so I've been walking through the medieval neighborhood, enjoying the festive atmosphere.

Estos días es fiesta local, San Bernabé, y hemos tenido varias actividades divertidas, el típico mercado 'renacentista', también una feria de productos locales, y varias representaciones de la batalla y asedio que sucedió en junio de 1521 y que dió origen a la celebración. Todo el fin de semana ha estado lloviendo muchísimo, pero hoy he aprovechado que hacía sol para salir a dar una vuelta por la parte antigua y disfrutar del ambiente festivo.

tropical pants

I've been longing to wear my new pants, and weather was not of any help, as usual. But suddenly yesterday was sunny and I was ready to sport my flowy pants and look like a tourist through the town. I worn them to go to work on the morning, I ran some errands, and when I came back home I discovered they were absolutely ripped off on the back!. I'm not so cared about having flashed my undies (I think anybody enjoyed the show), than dissapointed by the damage, because I really like these pants. Now I'm going to try a change or refund from the shop where I purchased them, wish me luck!

Estaba deseando ponerme estos pantalones nuevos y el tiempo no me estaba ayudando nada, como de costumbre. Pero de pronto ayer salió el sol y aproveché el momento de lucir pantalón tropical y parecer una turista más en la ciudad. Me los puse para ir al trabajo por la mañana, luego fui a hacer unos recados, y cuando volví a casa me dí cuenta de que estaban todos descosidos por detrás. Lo que más me preocupa no es haber ido enseñando las braguitas (creo que nadie me vio!), sino poder arreglar el desperfecto, porque estos pantalones me gustan de verdad. Ahora me voy a intentar que me los cambien o me devuelvan la pasta, deseadme suerte!
